阳光明媚的日子里，高校联赛召开在即，千叶县立总北高中的自行车部门前，金城真护正在进行高强的练习。未过多久卷岛裕介抵达，金城告诉他自行车竞技是一个需要团队精神的运动，希望他能和小宅男小野田坂道搞好关系。接下来小野田登场，他拎了一兜子手办自我陶醉，卷岛尝试与之搭话，谁知却令小野田将其引为同样爱好动漫的同道中人。在小宅男各种轰炸过程中，卷岛几乎精神崩溃。谈话间，今泉俊辅、鸣子章吉、手岛纯太、青八木一、田所迅等部员相继到来。金城要求大家分年级展开爬坡对抗练习。谁知此时小野田却慌慌张张，斗志低落……
