本片改编自美国家喻户晓的连环杀手“艾德.盖恩”的真实故事，但修改了案发地和凶手的姓名，此片讲述了凶手在他母亲死后由于受不了母亲已经死亡的打击，开始犯下盗墓、谋杀、毁尸、食人和恋尸癖等罪，并开始慢慢走向精神错乱的过程……
