民国初年，腐朽的清政府被革命推翻，民主进步的思潮迅速席卷整个神州大地。然而时局混乱加之民智未开，愚昧落后和封建迷信依然充斥着那个年代的中国。 黑水镇陈家大宅里发生了一件怪事，陈发财的四姨太李湘玲离奇死于家中。就在李湘玲离世当晚，她的贴身丫鬟小兰忽然开腔唱曲，唱的竟是李湘玲生前最喜爱的曲目，小兰唱曲时的身段腔调都与昔日的李湘玲如出一致。众人议论纷纷，都说这丫鬟小兰是被李湘玲的冤魂“夺了舍”，自此之后陈家大宅中怪事不断。。George Harvey Bone is a composer in early 20th century London, who is under stress because he is writing a piano concerto.
