2013年から2016年にかけて月刊少年チャンピオンで連載された原作は、高校球児たちの笑えて切ないリアルな日常を描いた野球部青春コメディ。映画では中学時代の野球部生活に別れを告げ、高校デビューを目指し茶髪に染めて入学した黒田鉄平が主人公に。バラ色の高校生活を夢見るも、優しい先輩たちに勧誘され、うっかり野球部に入部。しかし、仮入部の期間が終わった途端、先輩たちの態度は豹変するのであった。。After the relatively low box office takings of 'Intolerance', D.
