1991年12月美影摄制完成。影片描写秀才唐敖考场失意后，随妻兄林之洋出海经商，游历许多国家，见识了各种风土人情。影片在忠于原著的前提下，充分发挥美术片想象力丰富的特点，制作出一系列奇人、奇物、奇景，画面惊险、生动、有趣。影片第四集《两面国》获1991年度广播电影电视部优秀影片奖和1993年第二届中国影视动画，展播荣誉奖。。Outside Parliament in Reykjavik, a man throws himself at the Minister for Industry, setting fire to them both.
