鄉下青年「阿肯」，平常在加油站上大夜班，漫漫長夜時常想起幼時無數大人們前往工廠上班，村落還生氣勃勃的樣子。這一夜阿肯迎來許久不見的童年玩伴「長腳」，本應是重逢的喜悅，但卻意外揭開阿肯記憶中不願面對的真相。。Fårö Document 1979 is the ten-year followup to the first documentary Bergman made about his adopted home, Fårö, where he filmed many of his best works and lived until the end of his life。
