故事讲述绰号"生理大叔"的男子・光桥幸男（原田泰造）与他的女儿，因为一场炎上事件吵架然后和好的过程。光桥幸男是个在生理用品公司担任公关的单亲爸爸，有着高中生的女儿和中学生的儿子。半年前因为一个呼吁大家了解女性生理的影片爆红，而被称为「生理大叔」。但他某天却在直播的资讯综艺节目上与同场的评论员・北城うらら（菊地凛子）杠上，不小心说出「我连女儿的生理期都一清二楚」而引发炎上，导致连女儿・光桥花（上坂树里）都受不了学校的流言蜚语而离家出走。究竟他能否和女儿说清彼此间对生理的想法差异，重修旧好呢?。An affluent medical professor, Komiya, and his bossy wife, Tokio, are to look after Setsuko, their high-spirited niece from Osaka.
