简介
20世纪50年代末的南海沙滩上，社会主义的汹涌热潮在这里也呈现出红红火火的场面。少年们偶然在沙子中挖出了一顶日军钢盔，由此将公社书记廖阿彩的记忆带回了硝烟弥漫的战争时期。1937年，楚楚动人的阿彩和自小认识的玩伴金喜互有好感，却始终不能吐露心声。与此同时，渔霸高仁利及其儿子高子端则百般刁难这群苦难之人。金喜被逼还债，阿彩则面临给高仁利当小老婆的厄运。在工人赤卫队队员张伯的协助下，二人排除万难，终于喜结连理。
