本作是一部关于癌症的医疗类纪录片。项目组选择蹲守在复旦大学附属肿瘤医院，拍摄2021年来肿瘤医院治疗的病人，和在肿瘤学科进行深耕的医学工作者。通过记录在治疗过程中展现的医学进步、生死之间的人性等社会人文议题，来推动医患双方的理解和认知上的进步。。A teenage girl befriends a terrifying alien that crash-lands in the desert near her home.
