宿命的相逢之后，佐佐木小次郎（鶴田浩二 饰）苦练技艺，一心打败宫本武藏（三船敏郎 饰）。这之后，小次郎来至江户谋求官职，期间与同在江户的武藏邂逅，两人约定东门决斗。然决斗前夜，武藏致信请求将决斗延期一年。次日武藏和城太郎（樱井将纪 饰）、熊五郎（田中春男 饰）旅行来至乡下，师徒三人一面锄地耕作，一面教习农民武艺，抵抗土匪。 这期间阿通（八千草薰 饰）和朱实（冈田茉莉子 饰）先后来此寻找武藏，朱实更在匪乱中不幸丧命。一年后，小次郎成为细川家臣，岩流岛将成为他和武藏的命运转折点……。错爱和萌宝相结合，引发喜剧冒险。唐馨假死独自抚养龙凤胎，儿子为了拯救患病的妹妹，勇敢地回国寻找父亲，打脸伤害妈妈坏人，解开错爱真相。故事线紧凑明快，萌宝拯救爱情，错爱动人心弦。。Yoo-ra suffers from nightmares every night.
