本作は、朝賀庵がヤングマガジンで連載していたマンガをもとにした“凄絶ラブサスペンス”。主人公は20代半ばにして成功体験がなく、自分に自信がない、真面目だけが取り柄の桜庭陽真だ。彼の幼なじみ・犬飼秀司はスポーツ万能、成績優秀、容姿端麗。陽真はあらゆる場面で秀司と比べられてきたため、卒業後に秀司としばらく会わなくなってからも、その劣等感にさいなまれていた。そんなある日、陽真は高校時代に憧れていた美女・犬飼麗香と再会する。しかし、秀司と結婚して東京に住んでいるはずの彼女が現れたのには、ある秘密が。そして秀司とは連絡が取れなくなってしまうのだった。。The film tells of how street sweeper Alonso (played by Roberto Álamo) and tarot reader Marisa (Malena Alterio), the proprietors of a delicatessen Torres and Fátima (Jordi Sánchez and María Botto), plastic surgeon Calatrava (Julián López) and influencer Vicky (Kira Miró) have booked a house in the middle of nowhere on the Canary Islands, where they hope to spend the best holiday...。
