抗日战争结束后，威震上海滩的鲁平（何麟 饰）重返十里洋场。在交际花黎亚男（周玖 饰）的生日晚会上，私人侦探郭京（王志华 饰）提醒在场的望族名媛，鲁平已回沪。话音未落，突然停电，待室内重新亮起，宾客们放在银盘里的钱包、首饰不翼而飞。日特庄承一（董霖 饰）被接收大员陈妙根（林继凡 饰）威胁，“兰色响尾蛇”令白显华（胡大刚 饰）干掉不可靠的庄承一，白因贪庄藏匿巨资暂时未动手。鲁平假冒郭京从庄处窃走珍贵钻石，郭京颜面尽失，誓言生擒鲁平。陈妙根贪婪成性，为慑取汉奸资产不择手段，盗用鲁平名义搜刮钱财，最终死于非命。陈妙根之死郭京确认鲁平所为，于是警方对鲁平展开搜捕......。Set in the 24th century and decades after the adventures of the original crew of the starship Enterprise, this new series is the long-awaited successor to the original "Star Trek" (1966).
