该剧讲述了高凤山三个儿女金虎、金豹、金凤与铃铛以及三奶奶之间恩怨情仇。金豹为兄长金虎迎娶铃铛，不想路上铃铛被三奶奶手下人抓走，金豹为救嫂子，也被三奶奶关起来。接新娘小毛驴带着三奶奶信物跑回高家，金虎得知铃铛被掳走，怒气冲天……。World War I is coming to its end. Prisoners of war are coming into the town with Serb Ivo among them. During one of his escapes from the camp, he finds himself in a private garden. There he meets Lisa, the wife of the town-major - a severe and heartless colonel. She is sad, lonely and her meeting with the Serb develops into a deep mutual love.
