十九世纪末，摄影伴随殖民帝国进入热带国度的常民生活，充当国家视野前锋。记忆自胶卷转动间流泻而出，影中人无语，音乐声欢快。导演带着对祖国历史的关怀，重新编辑宛若巨型迷宫般的档案，堆栈出一座可自我衍生的影像记忆纪念碑；诗意呈现殖民者之手，深入柬埔寨这土地各环节筋络，时而粗暴，时而温柔。。In 1976 a group of people in the desert for a photo shoot stumble upon an abandoned town called Savage. But they are not alone. A family of masked psychopaths have claimed Savage as their own and are hell bent on living up to its name.。
