1946年春天，为裁决日本战犯而举行「东京审判」，十一个战胜国的法官齐聚东京帝国饭店。审判的焦点是，随着纽伦堡审判而诞生的「战争罪」。在此之前在《国际法》上认为合法的「战争」这一行为，第一次被认定为犯罪行为，并且追究国家指导者的责任。对于「战争罪」这一说法，辩护方认为这是事后法而不予承认。而在法庭上，各法官们的意见也对立起来。最初想短期内解决的审判，却显现出长期化、混沌化的样子。法庭背后的攻防中，驻留日本的法官们的私人活动、周围人的意见卷入其中。1948年秋，长达两年半的审判，十一个大法官最终做出了判决。在决定被告生与死的瞬间，人类最根源的问题「人类是否可以裁决战争」也得出了一个最终的答案。。Billie Blessings has gone from beloved chef, restaurant owner, and morning show segment host to #1 suspect in a murder case when one of the executives at the network dies from poisoning.
