1929年美国的爱德格教授因想了解性的奥秘，于是藉由金援着手进行科学研究，一群男性进行相当前卫的性讨论，另外有两位女性做速记。他严禁大家调情、开玩笑，一切都是严肃且科学的，但最后仍无法控制大家体内荷尔蒙的作用，于是情绪被搅动了，性爱的温度也升高了，很快地，行动取代了空谈，情势逆转，他也成为自己实验的主体，灵与欲的探索是否就此得到结论？。秦枫和女友沈薇薇、同事宋辰等人在湖岛团建，不料暴风雨夜突遭巨鳄袭击。逃亡中秦枫为救沈薇薇受伤，行动困难，他向沈薇薇求助，却遭其捅刀子，还被推向巨鳄。沈薇薇更坦白早与宋辰有染且怀了他的孩子，秦枫葬身鳄腹。所幸，他重生回到巨鳄袭击当日。。The film opens with a narrated disclaimer over footage of an opening coffin.
