作品设定是如果按下按钮，就可以得到100万日元，但是作为代价，必须在空空荡荡的空间里度过5亿年，5亿年结束后会失去这段时间的记忆。故事就是围绕着这个5亿年按钮展开的。动画讲述了因付不起住院的父亲的治疗费而走投无路的5岁的托尼奥、14岁的子美、17岁的小奈子三姐弟面前，出现了一个拿着5亿年按钮的人物，故事由此展开。。A mature, intelligent high school student has a side job arranging "accidental" deaths (no 2 alike) of fellow students' parents.
