塚原卜传是日本战国时代的一个传奇人物，他出生于剑之圣地鹿岛，从小便学习鹿岛中古流的太刀之术，在自己的一生当中曾经面临过多次生死对决，可是他却一次都没有受过伤。在此次的新剧当中，将会以此前从未在大荧幕上展现过的塚原卜传的青年时期为中心来进行故事的展开。。初出茅庐的栗原（柄本佑饰）被上司（光石研饰）派到韩国釜山去拍摄旅游广告片。对韩文一窍不通的他只身来到异国，竟然没能碰上原先约好的当地导游。正当他一筹莫展之际，邂逅了一名神秘的日本美女阳子（江口德子饰）。两人一同观光游览，釜山正在举行国际电影节，整个城市十分热闹。快乐的三天很快过去，分手的时刻就在眼前，栗原得知了阳子的秘密……。Twenty years ago at the infamous Redwood Farm, the owner went mad and killed his family and himself.
