Ok, folks, this is my last Ishii upload. Totsugeki! Hakata gurentai is his first feature and last 8mm film. Haven't watched it yet myself, but from the looks of it, this is very much reminescent of eighties and nineties v-cinema, sort of like early Miike (only made in 1978). There is considerably more dialogue than in his earlier films, but it doesn't seem too complicated plotw...。以杂志编辑部为舞台，讲述四十岁出头的编辑长相乐（大东骏介饰），因过于追求自我而被同事疏远，唯一陪伴他的只有爱犬柴犬。走投无路之际，他突发奇想创办“柴犬专门杂志”。然而聚集而来的却是一群怪咖——包括怕狗的编辑石森（饭丰万理江饰）。在混乱中，狗狗以温柔目光化解隔阂，人与人、人与犬之间也渐渐建立起羁绊，是一部描绘令和时代人际关系与治愈之力的温暖群像剧。。
