FOX宣布《嘻哈帝国》（Empire）的第六季就是其最终季了，这一季将会有20集。。原田ひ香の小説をもとにした本作は、年金とアルバイト暮らしの主人公・一橋桐子が“ムショ活”に取り組むうちに新たな発見や出会いを得て、生き生きと変化していくさまを描く物語。孤独死への不安で絶望していた桐子は、テレビで観たある逮捕者の「楽になるため刑務所に入りたかった」という供述に心を奪われ、「できるだけ人に迷惑をかけずに捕まる道」を模索し始める。。Narrated by the legendary Andy Griffith (THE ANDY GRIFFITH SHOW, MATLOCK), this heartwarming animated special is a charming re-imagination of the classic Christmas story following the three wise men on a wondrous quest to meet the newborn king.
