况天佑（尹天照 饰）带着“儿子”况复生（张国权 饰）和常人一样生活在现代的香港闹市，少有人知他们的真实身份其实是吸血鬼，六十年前同时被僵尸王将臣（任达华 饰）所咬，因此不老不死，以父子相称相依为命，只靠从医院偷血维生。他们与住在同一栋大楼的邻居王珍珍（杨恭如 饰）和马小玲（万绮雯 饰）成为好友，也了解到马小玲其实是驱魔龙族传人，身负家族诅咒，不能为男人落泪，因此无法谈恋爱。相处中，王珍珍逐渐爱上天佑，马小玲也奋力撮合二人，天佑不忍伤害善良的珍珍，但内心知道自己和马小玲彼此吸引。珍珍的一个炽热追求者出现在他们的生活，他叫山本一夫（陈启泰），但真实身份是天佑六十年前同时变成僵尸的宿敌，似乎属于两个年代、两代人的事情发生在同一批人身上，况天佑的身份秘密也被揭开，马小玲需要和他联手御敌。。A clever fortune-hunter with a penchant for murder does in his elderly, supposedly rich, wife and manages to get away with it.
