2012年秋季 NHK 日剧 夫のもとから逃れ、息子を連れて家を出た主人公。住む場所も職も見つからず途方に暮れるなか、手助けしてくれたのは先輩シングルマザーたちだった。社会のさまざまなハードルを乗り越えながら、母も子も成長して行く。やがて「児童扶養手当」の削減という大きなハードルが立ち塞がる。そのとき、シングルマザーたちは国会の前に立っていた……。。Respected liberal Senator Joe Tynan is asked to lead the opposition to a Supreme Court appointment. It means losing an old friend and fudging principles to make the necessary deals, as well as further straining his already part-time family life.
