本片改编自丹佛·摩尔与朗·霍尔合著的纪实小说。这是一则真实故事，生活于上流社会、事业有成的国际艺术画商朗·霍尔，某天听到妻子叙述她神奇的梦，这个梦将使他与世界上另一个角落的男人建立友谊并陪伴他度过人生最伤痛的时刻。。这部作品讲述的是2024年生活在东京的30岁男女7人，在持有各自的恋爱观和家庭问题的同时，相遇、接触、相爱的故事。7人因为没有恋爱的美好回忆，或是过去经历过巨大的失恋，有各自的理由与恋爱保持距离，也没有恋人。正因为是在SNS和APP变得容易连接的时代，才会感到孤独，面对不安和苦恼。这7个人追求的是“与他人的联系”，换句话说就是“爱”，因此本剧讲述了登场人物因爱上别人而重生，走向新舞台的爱情故事。。‘Treasures from the Wreck of the Unbelievable’ charts the story behind Damien Hirst’s most ambitious project to date.
