每一个人都有自己的故事，每一片土地都有独特的生命力，在冬季寒冷的北极圈，在终日不见阳光的极夜，有这样一群人，因为不同的理由活着，他们为了生活，为了理想，在茫茫的冰原中闪烁着，发出独特的光芒，或闪亮自己，或照亮别人。本片以光为主题，从科学之光，人性之光和神性之光几部分，讲述在斯瓦尔巴群岛生活的人们。不同种族，不同文化和不同信仰在此交融，在情与爱中得到传承和延续，在理性与感性间展现人性之美，在人与自然之间和谐共存，而他们每一个人都是“光语者”。。Johnny is finally old enough to participate in Porkbelly's Annual Running of the Squirrels, but he has to get past his mom, who thinks it's too dangerous.
