一枚偶然发现的古钱，给工人肖明达（何伟 饰）带来一段哭笑不得的遭遇。钱币专家黄义方（舒适 饰）断定它是宋代的“母钱”，价值连城。一时间，肖明达名声大噪，妻子阿珍（王苏 饰）指望发笔“横材”，妹妹明娟（吴莉婕 饰）则希望托黄义方的关系，调到文物研究所去，而跟肖明达共同发现古币的徒弟章德林（沈晓谦 饰）也希望分一杯羹。好事多磨，不久有专家说古币是假货，一夜之间肖明达被社会认为是一个沽名钓誉的造假人物，黄义方也被气病住院，连女儿也受到同学欺负。警方介入后，通过周密调查和论证，又确认了古币的真实性，原先的人又蠢蠢欲动，可此时发现，古币不见了......。A mysterious application called 'Wishlist' comes into the possession of a group of teenagers.
